American Girl Author Valerie Tripp (Youth Services) - 2:00 p.m. - WL Theatre
Valerie Tripp created the original American Girls including Molly, Samantha, Felicity, Josefina, and Kit. She has also written picture books and easy readers. Ms. Tripp will speak about her books on Saturday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the Williamsburg Library Theatre. Following her presentation, children are invited to participate in activities, enjoy lemonade and cookies, and have books autographed. There will be some giveaways. Books will be available for purchase through Narnia Children's Books. Families, including dolls, are welcome! Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Entry procedure:

·     Every person in the theatre needs an entry pass.

·     One adult may accompany an individual child or group of children. Each child and the accompanying adult will receive a green entry pass starting at 1:00 pm.

·     Additional adults will receive a pink ticket and will be accommodated once all children are seated.

·     Green Entry Pass holders will be admitted starting at 1:40 pm. Admission will be done in batches starting with the lowest Pass numbers. 

·      Pink Pass holders will be seated if seats are available after all children are admitted.  Seating will done by pass number.

Coyote Run returns to the Library with their powerful, eclectic Folk and Celtic music. Inspired by the rich heritages of Warrior, Celtic, Dramatic and Maritime traditions, Coyote Run's unique and rich storytelling style of music tells soaring tales of battle, blood, love, loss and the sheer joy of living. They play a wonderful fusion of instruments, including: guitars, mandolin, keyboard, accordion, flute, whistle, recorder, violin, bodhran, djembe, digeridoo, bagpipes, ukelele and cittern.
